About the ZX Spectrum 48k Version
-This is modified version of the Legendary game Hero Quest and and Hero Quest Return of the Witch Lord for ZX spectrum 48Kb.Well somehow I never played this GREAT game back in the days and recently I started to get into it and I love it so I decide to make this little mod and share it with the community. I actually just separate all Levels for much easier loading(It's easier said then done)on your Original Spectrum if you using phone or PC to load TAP files.
-If you want to play Return of the Witch Lord first load the game Hero Quest48k and then in the game menu go to the Load other and then load HQ_Return_Of_The_Witch_Lord and choose the level that you want to play....
So with the original game Hero Quest and the expansion now you can play and load all 24 levels easily on your original hardware...+ Yeah also I did a new Loading Screen and all 4 Heros pictures that you can load on yours Speccy and admire the look of the Barbarian,Elf,Dwarf and Wizard on your original Hardware and there is some extras like game maps and full original book of instruction how to play the Hero Quest.....
About the PC Version 2.0
-You will also find package with the PC Version witch is basically the same as the ZX Spectrum 128k Version it's just working via Emulator but with the awesome soundtrack that contain modified original Hero Quest tune from the amiga done by Pianopossession...
-Instruction how to install the PC Version:_
After You downloaded zipped file HERO_QUEST_MASTER_EDITION unpack file on your root C:\ Directory so it will look like this:
C:\HERO_QUEST_MASTER_EDITION
Basically just unzip and drag and drop directory on your root C: drive
Enter the directory C:\HERO_QUEST_MASTER_EDITION and START first bat file A_START_HERE.bat or A_HERO_QUEST_PC_Ver.2.0.exe
IMPORTANT GAME must be INSTALLED on your C: Drive or it will not work!!!

Hi, I’m contacting you because I want to make a homebrew tribute USB. I’m collecting as many content creators as possible. I also want to include a profile for each one, with a few details, such as their logo, avatar, name, work completed, projects, etc., so you can see who’s behind their creations.
That profile, along with any material you allow me to upload, will be placed on a USB drive. This will act as a database of creators and their creations, and will be updated as I connect with new people.
The USB I’m thinking of creating will be one of those rubber-type USBs, shaped like a Spectrum computer, something that looks really nice. The idea is that those who contribute material, and if they want to buy one or more, will get it at cost price, and those who just want to buy one, it will cost a little more.
The idea is that if enough are sold, enough to recover the initial investment, the profits that the rest of the USBs could generate will be distributed among the people who have contributed material to the project, via transfer, PayPal, or however possible, even if possible, that the USB will be free. Obviously, you can buy more than one, but only one of them can be free.
It’s not necessary or mandatory to buy the USB, only if you like it or want it.

Do you have Kempston Mouse support as well? And AY music?
No....AY music version working only on 128K version....even if you have AY chip on your 48k I believe that it will not be enough space in 48k to pack this game and music...
So you decided this game to be 48K only and not to play AY? What happen if I run this version on the 128K machine?
It will work of course on 128k machine but you can download version for 128k machine with music it's already exist.....I made this mod for 48k machine to make it easier for people to load the game as this days almost no one using cassete anymore so I split all data lvl blocks and save it as tap- files with proper lvl names so that people can load the lvl. easy also I did few other things it's all explained in the text above...
Clear! Do you think it's possible to pack all expansion levels to upper 64k and put them alltogether to the 128k RAM to use as a RAM disk? So, for example, if I have a 128k machine I could load all the missions in RAM at once and then play them without additional loads?
Not sure I don't think it's possible even if it is it will require a lot of work/coding but anyway you can also find and download Disk version version for 128K and if you have new gotek disk for Speccy it will probably work perfectly fine
